Jaykoe’s interdisciplinary practice explores the intricacies of the metropolis looking at alternative uses of city spaces as they become more densely populated, and issues of urban planning, social control, psychogeography, gentrification and community.
His work encompasses a range of mixing and sampling processes that reference subcultural activities and movements such as Parkour, Hip Hop culture and the Situationists.

Jaykoe has participated in several solo and group exhibitions since he graduated in 2012. His work has been the recipient of the Oppenheim-John Downes Memorial Trust Award
2017 and he has participated in art fairs and other art events all around the world, being the most recent one the Rome Art Week 2018.
He is currently developing a new body of work for a solo museum project in 2020, coinciding with the Brent London Borough of Culture.
