OUR CANVAS TAG
Tagsmart is thrilled to announce the launch of its most advanced solution for art authenticity, the Canvas Tag.
With artists being exceedingly conscious of their need to further protect their oeuvre and reputation, Tagsmart has been working closely with leading experts in the fields of science and art conservation to develop a new application to its already proven technology.
Like the Paper and Aluminium Tags, the Canvas Tag is archival and features the latest synthetic DNA and security elements. Following conservation best practices and Tagsmart's art-specific focus, the new Tag fragments with any attempt to transfer or remove it, making it unable for reuse. Its pioneering design allows for a quick and easy application and renders the Tag flexible and free to bend, roll and expand/shrink with the natural movements of the canvas.
Celebrating one year since the Tagsmart launch in April 2016, this is a significant stepping stone to the art market as a new member joins the family of the world's most advanced standard for authenticity in art.
"I believe the Canvas Tag will become a fundamental rule of thumb in protecting and securing artworks. This tag will revolutionise the art market, giving artists the opportunity to safeguard their highest valued works." – Deborah Azzopardi
